Week 8 (25-29 April)

Was completely lost not over my work @ the office but from colleague- since my balance of trying to juggle work and studies has yet to find a steady 'routine' (officially have GREAT respect for those studying after a 9-5 job aka the part time students-takes great dedication!!!)*

Week 7 (18-21 April)

Pretty much thought I would of  had a rest week-due to the 'bossman' being out of the country!

But alas I was mistaken again-apparently when the big guy isn't in the office he dishes MORE work than when he's physically there... He would send daily mail enlisting all the tasks each worker had to do, fortunately and unfortunately I had the dreaded task of doing room data sheets-which is the MOST fulfilling thing I've ever done!!!!
So I'm actually glad for his return so I can pester him for some more 'challenging' work-yay Mr Josh!!!
Yup that basically covers what happened during the week-first floor room data sheets(Mon and Tues), ground floor room data sheets(Wed) and basement floor room data sheets(Thurs)-I can officially do em in my sleep:)!!!

Week 6 (11-15April)

Since the main technologist was on a mini-vaca...your girl Staci had to try her best at making a good impression!!!
Which began at arriving an hour late for work(due to a late night- and not what your thinking u 'naughties'), making the boss a tad mad because of  a miscommunication, taking an extra half an hour for lunch because of another miscommunication-basically as you can tell I was NOT making the best impression! So had to put my 'big girl-panties' on and had to brave the storm of taking alot of well-deserved flak...Which turned out pretty cool, because I eventually got to be with a client and draw plans myself (even if it wasn't an actual building, rather an element in it) i was rather pleased with myself:)! And for some reason most of the employees were absent, which just left myself and Dana(my 55yr old best friend at the office) where answering phones, running around town to do errands, sorting admin, preparing plans, 'colouring in' (lol yup was progressed back to primary school where i had to colour in the lines)and basically holding down the fort-which ended up being quite eventfull!
Indeed, the light is starting to glimmer @ the end of the dark 'working tunnel'*

Week 5 (4-8 April)

This week i wasn't feeling all that well so my office hours were to the bare minimum!
What i did do was working on amping my presentation skills, because they apparently sucked before but are now on their way to being 'ok'!! Also dabbled a little on some low cost houses that have begun with planning, went on site as well to check some measurements for a theatre-which was pretty incredible! Trying to teach myself some programmes as my lovely little company 'refuse' to work on them, but if i turn out to be 'ok' i could persuade them to enter into the 21st century:)*
For now let me do some more practising!!!

Week 4 (28-1 April)

Soooo, trying to remember what i did last week is turning out to be a bit of a strain!!! What i can remember was that i was feeling a little indecisive about whether to stay @ my firm or not. Realizing that I shouldn't be placing all my energy on 'where' i should work but rather make the most out of this lovely place and absorb as much as i possibly can!! Which i did, thankfully and with the right positive attitude received more interesting work and ways on how to present things a little better:)
