Lists all the rooms spaces on the plan, that shows the builders via ‘dots’ what finishes are to be laid in each room. It also gives more detail than the normal F.S whereby showing the area and perimeter of walls to be painted, carpets to be laid, new tiles to be laid, old tiles to be cleaned, amount of skirting and cornices that should be in each room etc…

It’s for the contractors/foreman, who administers the builders to go according to the schedule which lists all the finishes of the rooms on the plan. Each dot will showcase what is to be done in each room according to the floors, skirting’s, walls, ceilings, cornices skirting, doors and door frames, windows, benches and timber partitions(being that it’s a court), electrical and sanitary.

How does your office find work on a sustainable basis?
Through reputation, Mr. Joshua has been in this field for 40years-2years working under someone, and then ventured out on his own. Throughout those 40 hard-working years, a lot of networking has had to be established and good contacts made so via word-of-mouth and pleased clients he has been able to on an average yearly basis plan 3 new buildings and do 6 alterations.

How does the communication work in the office – who reports to whom etc.?
Timesheets-everyday the employee fills it in and describes what they do, and what part of the job they still need to complete.How the new projects are tackled – who gets involved in which stages of the project?
Mr. Joshua gets the clients and draws the plan then gives it to Wardieya who draws the sections and elevations which is then given to me to complete the schedules and room data sheets. Once the construction is on its way Dana goes out to survey the site and check what the builders are doing and not doing- and that makes the Team!
